My Oral Village (MOVE) is a non-profit organization specializing in microfinance solutions for oral individuals. They have several products to help illiterate and innumerate individuals gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to access financial services.
During my time with MOVE, I focused on enhancing the interface of their financial numeracy games as a UI designer.

Each numeracy game is represented by a signpost on the menu, however the original signs were too complex. I enhanced these sign designs by simplifying the number of elements on the sign and added some dimension.

The existing menu for the numeracy games consisted of signposts on a flat background, using arrow buttons to navigate between pages of games. In order to build a sense of progression that would resonate more with innumerate individuals, I created a continuous, scrollable background illustration that resembles a dirt road. As the player progresses to more advanced levels, they “walk” forward on the path of games.
